Grit has over 21 years of experience encompassing institutional, civic, hospitality, and residential projects. As a technical director and project architect she takes a leadership role throughout all phases of design, permitting, and construction ensuring the project’s successful completion at a high level of functionality and design excellence. Her ability to coordinate directly with local and state authorities has enabled her to navigate through complex code issues, orchestrating project designs with the various regulations such as Building codes, Zoning parameters, and CalGreen requirements.

Grit has been an instrumental team member for some of AC Martin’s recent iconic projects including the Wilshire Grand Center and the new headquarters for the California Natural Resources Agency in Sacramento. She is a licensed Architect, a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C, and DBIA Certified Professional. Grit received her Bachelor of Architecture & Urban Design from Kassel University in Germany and her Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
