The MAG-LITE headquarters consists of a 30-acre, 750,000 sf facility employing 1,200 people and housing the administrative offices, machining, fabrication, finishing, assembly, warehousing, shipping and receiving functions for the flashlight manufacturer.

Specialty Services

Taber Construction chose our firm as the Architect of Record and Structural Engineers for their Design Build contract with Stanford Children’s Health. The scope of work included a Tenant Improvement at two separate Specialty Services office buildings in Los Gatos, California. The project team worked under a condensed schedule to deliver the Specialty Services offices for occupancy in a short 11 months.

CSU East Bay Oakland Center

We completed Architectural and MEP Engineering services for the Tenant Improvement at CSU East Bay Oakland Center. This Oakland Student Center consists of approximately 7,500 sf of existing space. Our team designed, renovated, and expanded the space to approximately 16,500 sf. This all-inclusive facility is equipped with high speed WIFI and AV equipment, LCD projectors, whiteboards, and tele-conferencing abilities. The design intent was to provide additional resource space to the many graduate program students who are on site most of the day, including additional classrooms, two student lounges, study rooms and hoteling space.

Walters Middle School Campus Remodel and Classroom Additions

This Middle School Conversion project at Walters Jr. High School started construction in summer of 2017 and was completed in multiple phases with final move into new classrooms in August of 2019. The scope of this project focused on urgent infrastructure upgrades and reconfiguration of classrooms in existing buildings in conjunction with new classroom buildings to accommodate growth in student population from 736 to over 1,400 including the addition of a new 6th grade level. Our team was able to get three new classroom buildings through DSA in 3-1/2 months and ready for bid. Building modernization’s throughout were driven by the following criteria: code compliance and accessibility upgrades; enhanced functionality, interior finish improvements, interior layout modifications, expanded technology, acoustic improvement, flooring surface improvement, and other upgrades to meet CHPS criteria and provide better and healthier classroom environments; mechanical improvements for cooling and thermal comfort in individual classrooms, improved control systems, power and lighting upgrades, technology expansion and enhancements; improved building performance/energy savings.
