Portico Mixed-Use Groundbreaking

LONG BEACH, CA - Construction is officially underway on Portico, a 272-home mixed-use community in downtown Long Beach designed by AC Martin. The project will bring new housing, activated ground-floor retail, and elevated resident amenities—including a rooftop deck with expansive views, resort-style pool, sauna, sports simulator, and speakeasy—supporting a more vibrant, connected urban experience. We were proud to join JPI, the Mayor of Long Beach, Rex Richardson, and project partners at the groundbreaking ceremony to mark this important milestone. Congratulations to the entire team on getting shovels in the ground, and thank you for the strong collaboration bringing this vision to life. With completion anticipated in June 2028, Portico represents a meaningful investment in the continued growth of downtown Long Beach.
