What is your first memory of AC Martin?

On April 4th, AC Martin proudly participated in Design x Diversity Day, an annual event hosted by Architecture for Communities Los Angeles (ACLA) at Pasadena City College. This year’s celebration honored the legacy of the visionary architect César Pelli, whose work continues to inspire future generations of designers.

The theme for Women's History Month 2025 is "Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations." We talked to AC Martin Technical Director, Grit Pasker, to get her insights and get to know her.

What is your first memory at AC Martin?
What struck me about AC Martin is the number of women in a leadership position in the firm when I first interviewed. I was coming out of maternity leave, and it felt as if there was already a clear understanding - no explanation or lengthy discussion was needed in terms of my ability to balance home and work life. I found that refreshing.

AC Martin is proud to announce that four of our projects were honored at the recent Los Angeles Business Journal Commercial Real Estate Awards, recognizing excellence in multifamily, affordable housing, and community impact. These awards highlight the dedication, creativity, and collaboration of our team and partners in shaping meaningful projects that enhance communities across Los Angeles.

We are excited to launch our Wildfire Relief Donation Matching Program, doubling the impact of every contribution! For every dollar donated, AC Martin will match the amount up to $10K, in support of three organizations that suffered significant loss: Aveson Charter School in Altadena, Corpus Christi Church and School in Pacific Palisades, and St. Elizabeth Parish School in Altadena.
